My favorite color is blue. The color blue is my favorite color because I feel it is the most beautiful. To me, the color blue has the most vibrant range, as well the most deep and calming range. I feel that blue represents two of the most beautiful things found in the world, the sky and the ocean. The sky is a beautiful and immense place, with birds and clouds, while the ocean is largely unknown, with amazing creatures, both discovered and undiscovered. These two, I feel, represent the color blue the best. They represent its range, the sky being a vibrant color, with limitless possibilities, and the ocean being a deep blue, with mysteries to spare and wonders to discover. The meaning of the color blue is as follow; the color blue represents both the sky and the sea, and is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, expansiveness, inspiration, and sensitivity. Blue also represents meanings of depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith, heaven, and intelligence. All of these meanings have impacted me both as a designer and a person. As a person, it inspires me to be wiser about my choices and relationships, to be more imaginative and open to new ideas, people, and places.
I consider myself to be a sensitive guy; I am able to express emotions without feeling scared of ashamed of them. I feel empathy as well as sympathy for others, and try my best to keep those I care about happy. As a designer the color blue inspires me. It creates an image in my brain of freedom and expansiveness. I try my best to express those ideas through my work. Though I am not the most talented artist, my work is true to my abilities and personality. The color blue, and its intensity inspire me to improve on my skills and dedicate my all to any project or idea I may have. To conclude the color blue is my favorite color because it represents my personality, both intense and deep as well as vibrant and lively.

Looking into what my future will look like after college is unknown but I can surely guide and take my life into a path where I can achieve the goals I set. I’m looking into getting a great job after college preferably in the architectural field so that my career can get started pretty quick. When looking for firms in my career I do wish for it to be a big one with high standards. I’ve looked recently into Gensler which is one the top 3 architectural firms in the country as well Organicarchtect and Perkins Eastman. I however am drawn more towards Organicarchitect. The reason behind this is that it’s eco friendly. My goal is to build buildings but I am also aware of how harmful some of these can be to the environment. I want to work in a place that helps the world so it be a greener environment. I strongly believe that for every building built that trees and plants should be placed around it or even on the building making it abstract. Being in a environment with lots of nature not only is healthy but more relaxing for one to be in.
Therefore I will push myself in the Michael Graves college to excel in everything that I do. I will make projects with different ways it could be eco friendly. I will try to design and make new ideas that make a building look futuristic but still have a sense of nature and sunlight. Having my gpa stay at a nice 3.5 or higher throughout all of my semester is a must. I am going to try to earn as many internships as possible so that my resume is as professional as it can be. With accomplishing these goals I will succeed in being hired it’s only a matter if I put the effort into everything I put my mind to.

  3. When everyone is little one of the first things they learn are colors. Colors bring meaning to almost everything. For example some of the colors we first familiarize ourselves with are red, white, black, blue, green, yellow, etc. Each of these colors are cool but to me one stands out as my favorite ever since I first learned them. My personal all time favorite color is without doubt green. Every thing I had was green. My room was painted a light green, all the toys I wanted were green. For example when I played my very first Pokémon game ( Pokémon pearl ) I chose the grass type starter Pokémon. I chose him simply because he was green like grass. All my yo-yo strings were green and still are. Growing up you learn the true meaning of these tiny things that impacted your life so much when you were younger. The color green has a deeper meaning and that is one of nature and peace and relaxation. Green symbolizes growth in nature, health and money also believe it or not. Green is the color of money after all. Green as the symbol of health is also used in a lot of video games with that avatars life bar. This impacts my personality because I’m always trying to be healthy and to grow and be vibrant as possible. Also I want a lot of money so green works in that department also. My style the closer to nature you are the better you are. Everything we have comes from nature and if I was to design something it would have some features of nature. Green is a very positive color that we see everywhere weather it’s paint or grass or trees, we are surrounded by green.
The color green suites me and my style well I feel like, also like I said before it was the color of the probably the most wanted thing in the world and that is money. The more money you have the more green you have.

  4. Like a majority of people, my favorite color is a type of blue; specifically cyan. Blue is a very fluent color. Blue possesses a wide range of tints and shades. The color can also combine with other colors creating beautiful new bluish hues. Cyan is one of the most common blue and green color mixes, yet it is so underappreciated. Most people have no idea what I am talking about when I say cyan. For me cyan is more than a color. When I discovered cyan it opened up a whole new world of quirky colors and ambitious combinations. This set off fireworks of creativity in my mind creating the artstyle and artform that I have come to know and love.
Since cyan is a combination of blue and green I like to think it’s a physical representation of the horizon. The horizon is where the sky (blue) and the earth (green) appear to meet. It’s a place is not only real, but also fictional and endless. It’s a place where anything and nothing can happen. It consists of everything and yet nothing at the same time. That’s the beauty of cyan. It contains every emotion you can feel in one color and yet it’s such a simple combination; such extensive beauty with little effort used to create it. To me it’s everything but it’s also truly nothing.

My favorite color is salmon. I think it is a very unique color that is often not referred to as someone’s favorite. I’ve always liked salmon because it was not one the the normal colors you see all the time. My first time out of the country I visited Bermuda, which is a small island off the east coast of North America. The first thing I noticed when I went to Bermuda was that the houses were all colored light yellows, blues, purples, and salmon. I loved how the colors of the homes gave a joyful oura to the whole island. It almost made the landscape look like a childrens coloring book.
I also have a few salmon colored clothing items that i think look really nice when worn with white, dark blue, and black clothing. The color is a subtle pop, which I think goes well with my clothing style. I usually will wear one garment of clothing that pops and everything else I wear is a more dull color or texture. I think it looks nice and catches peoples eyes. I think salmon goes well with my personality because it is a friendly color that is not too bright. I am a very friendly and talkative guy but I’m also very pleased with silence and relaxation.
The color Salmon impacts my design work as well. Not only do I like using the color but I like using other colors like turquoise, coral, yellow, and light green. I think all of these colors express a positive and fun vibe. Salmon reminds me of summer as it can be found in sunsets and in sushi, two things that I enjoy. According to Wikipedia, the color salmon is known to provide good health because salmon contains Omega-3 fatty acids, which are good for you. I personally try to stay physically fit by lifting and running. I also have been recently trying to eat foods that are better for your health since I will be playing a college sport. Being healthy can also help me in the classroom because it can help the mind recover.

  6. My favorite color is yellow because it represents optimism, yellow give off an extremely positive energy that helps enthusiasm, opportunity, and spontaneity. I like to think of things in a positive manner, it helps make everything seem better than it actually is. Yellow is extremely stimulating to the brain as well, specifically the left side. The left side of the brain specializes in logic, and with constant exposure to the color yellow it'll strengthen the person's decision making and clarity. Yellow is also very representative of confidence and happiness, because the more positive you strive to be in life the more confident you can become if your personal life and work life therefore more successful. The color represents my personality because I'd like to be as successful as possible in everything I do and the color is really stimulating to the brain as I said before the left brain impacts confidence and decision making. Yellow is extremely bright making it the most eye catching color and I think people who are constantly confident and encouraging are eye catching to their peers and they can work as a ray of sunshine to others who need some guidance in achieving their personal goals. I really want to be able to incorporate psychology in my designs I believe your surroundings have an enormous impact of your mood and personality, so why not make it positive. For example if you were painting your child's nursery would you paint it black? No, black is a cover, it hides what you don't want to see. It also portrays intimidation and evil. Instead of black you should choose a color like yellow, it'll inadvertently teach your child to be optimistic and it'll exercise their left brain to have them to grow up with strong decision making. Yellow is not only used to improve individual selves, but its used often in advertising, especially in sports. Many sports teams have yellow in their team colors, it helps stimulate their brain to have more confidence to make the plays they need to make. It also helps in players decision making, helping the team win more meets. Overall yellow is a very important color to me personally because I want to try to be as happy and optimistic as possible in the upcoming year.

  7. Navy Blue is my favorite color because it reminds me about the stars. When I was younger, looking up at the starry sky always brought joy to me. In a way, it was a gateway for me to escape reality. I love this color, not just for the starry sky but because it also reminded me about my favorite shows and the funny characters who brought life into my dull world. When I was little, my parents were a bit overbearing when it came to playing outside or hanging out with friends. Honestly, it's because of their worries that I never really had the experience of going out with people my own age until I was older and mature enough to realize that life is more than the four wall of my house. As I grew older, the color navy blue also changed for me. I didn't just think about the stars but how happy I felt just looking at it. Sometimes the reasons we like something is just because we simply like it. There's never really a reason for why or how, it just is what it is and that's OK. The style of my design is shown through this color because my works usually have something that represents a time or place or maybe a moment. It’s not easily capture since I have a long way to go in expressing myself through my art but it is there. Navy blue represents my worries, my happiness, the joys in life and sorrows that come with it. My art is just the same. It can be of one emotion yet that one emotion has so much more to offer. The life of my designs are something to remind humanity about the little things in life. As we grow older, our minds begins to wear out and we begin to lose sight of what’s really important. It’s in small moments of happiness, sadness, angry, that we are reminded of life’s many difficulties and that’s how I feel with my favorite color, navy blue. That is how my art style, my type of design is all about and I can’t wait to flourish this design of my further into the world.

  8. There are many colors in the rainbow and even more when they are blended together. Out of all of the colors that the color spectrum has to offer, I have to say that blue is my favorite color of all time. Blue has been my favorite color for several years now, and it is mainly for its connection to a feeling of serenity. When we see blue, we usually think of the sky or the sea. In addition, we are aware that blue is a cool color which usually associates to calm and relaxation. For instance, when we think of the ocean, which reflects the color blue, we relate the sounds and sensations of the water to peace and tranquility. However, when looking at the significance of the meaning of the color, it is usually linking with words such as trust, loyalty and intelligence, which greatly connects to my personality. In accordance to loyalty and trust, these words heavily describe my relationships with my friends. Within my circle of friends, I have been considered the type of person that they can confide in during their time of need. In addition, I have always been there for my friends when they needed me the most. Furthermore, intelligence has been a major part in my academic career. While in high school, I have put great effort into my studies and lessons and in turn, have received a plentiful amount of knowledge. Coincidentally, in association to knowledge and intelligence, blue just so happens to been the main color of Kean University. Therefore, I guess it was a coincidence that I chose a university that just so happens to associate with my favorite color.

My ultimate favorite color from the time I was a child to now has always been the color yellow. It is bright, vibrant, and stands out no matter where it is or what other color you see it next to. The color yellow has always been associated with life and happiness and thus it has always been the color that made me the happiest. Yellow has a variety of shades and intensities that can easily give off different vibes or meanings when paired with other colors. A pale yellow can be a calm but uplifting brightness while a more deeper and vibrant yellow can indicate energy and life. It is the color of the sun, some of the most beautiful flowers such as Sunflowers or Marigolds, and is associated with the emotion of happiness.
I believe this color goes well with my own personality. I am vibrant, outgoing, and as positive as my favorite color. The color reminds me of the happier and more beautiful of things in life such as sunshine and sunflowers, keeping me happy along with it. I am a bubbly and social person who brings light in the dullness of everyday life. The color yellow relates to me in my own personal default mood of happy and content, smiling as I walk through most of my days. Feeling consistently energized and filled with simple, positive energy.
The color yellow inspires my design style by allowing me to think of ways to brighten a room in a way that when people walk into it, it will bring forth a positive energy. This is not to say that I will incorporate yellow into each and every one of my designs, but instead, I will find a way to make a room or space the most comfortable, practical, appealing and/ or convenient for the client. This way, I can find a way to design and meet all of their requirements while still making an aesthetic appeal. In the future I will want to bring the same amount of joy and peace to future clients the same way the color yellow makes me feel when I am looking at it or wearing it.

When it comes to picking a favorite color it is hard to pic one in particular. There are a few colors that I adore. My most favored colors would have to be pink, rose gold, gold and white. Like most say there is a reason for everything, therefore there is a reason why I like those colors.

The reason I am in love with the color pink is mostly because pink resembles the emotions of love and compassion. Pink is a color that best suits my personality, I am such a loving, caring and warm hearted person, it just makes perfect sense. Each time I see the color pink it reminds me of myself. The color is so girly like myself. Being a person who is in love with fashion, shopping, hair and makeup would be classified as girly. I very much care about my appearance even the way I act and how I want to be viewed by others.

Although most would say that pink is a very basic color I would say the totally opposite. When I think of the color pink I think of strength. Not only am I physically strong but I am mentally strong as well and I have a strong personality. Both my twin brother and I were born prematurely our due date was expected to be october 3rd yet we were born on august 3rd of 2000. With that being one of us had an undeveloped small intenstants the other had an undeveloped large intestines we had to get surgery to fix the issue at birth. So we then both had a prosger done my brother was doing well but for me many doctors saisd it looked I wasn’t going to make it. But obviously they were wrong I fought for my life the nurse told my parents that I am a fighter and that I am very strong. My brother went home from the hospital on October 12th I came home on october 27th in great shape. My delivery story since infancy was not only inspiring but it just proved how strong was going to be for the rest of my life. The color pink is viewed as the color of strength is because breast cancer is associated with pink and people who survived or has gone through breast cancer is very strong. Even though I am not a breast cancer survivor I believe that my life experience at birth resembled how strong I am/was.

Pink is my favorite color because I resembles how strong, loving, caring and compassionate I am.

  11. My favorite color is red because it represents boldness. I have always liked the color red specifically when it came to clothing and designs. It is a color that really pops out to me wherever I go. To me, the color red is vivid, powerful, and full of energy. It represents my personality because even on my most stressful days, I try to find the energy within myself to get through the rest of the day. I am also very ambitious whether it be for school or for any other goals I wish to reach. I tend to have high standards for my future and for myself which makes me unafraid to pursue my dreams and goals. I also love to take risks when it comes to new opportunities that come my way and stepping out of my comfort zone which brings out the boldness side of me.
When it comes to designing my "dream home" I know I will have a room with the color red incorporated in it whether it be the kitchen or living room. I think this color makes it very pleasing and grabs attention to any specific place. As with clothing, it makes me feel more confident and brings me more energy. To me, this color makes everything look fancy, yet is very simple and it is a color you see everywhere, but will still grab your attention. It is a vibrant and beautiful color. Overall, the color red is my favorite color because it represents some characteristics I have and is visually appealing to me.

  12. I have plenty of colors in which I like but if I had to pick a favorite, then it would be green. In middle school I had two best friends named Naomi and Abedel, at the time I liked purple, blue and green. Naomi liked purple and Abedel liked blue, so I was left with green. Everybody always choose blue as a favorite and I wanted to be different, also purple was too feminine for me at the time, as a kid you think of purple as a girl’s color. Then it hit me, green never gets any love as a favorite color. When I thought of green I could see it everywhere, in our money, when you imagine nature, go as in street lights but even looking into the future. That why the color started to grow on me the way it does. I would say green has a major impact of my style and personality because it builds my confidence as well as the right choice when I feel that I’m having a hard time deciding on what I want to wear, be it an event or causal gathering between friends. It builds my confidence because as I stated earlier knows nobody really chooses green as a favorite color, so I feel as though I’m different from others every time I wear it, even the shades everyone else might not agree with. As I grew up my style began to change, and I liked flashy clothing and flashy accessories less and less when I dress. I used to wear baggy cargos but then one day I saw some green slacks and that changed my preference of clothing even though I don’t wear everything green. I prefer regular clothes that look good when put into the right combination. I find that olive green and black mesh well and isn’t out there clothing wise. My personality is really laid back and I’m not the center of attention, but I still have leadership qualities such being different from the “in crowd” but green being my favorite color isn’t the only thing that’s makes me different. It my habits and need for organization. In conclusion green my favorite because I chose to be different and it changed me for better or worse.

As a young kid we all decide which color is our favorite, and then three months later we change it. Then our school colors often become out favorite, that’s the case with me. I come from Old Bridge and surprisingly went to Old Bridge High School. Old Bridge’s colors are purple, white, black, and grey. Those colors became my go to outfit colors and my favorite, but purple reigned supreme out of the four. With Purple being my favorite color I try to incorporate it in my designs, ultimately making my designs look like an aromatherapy store. Also with my love of purple when I make the outside of my design I always have lilacs around the house to add that inviting and beautiful atmosphere.
My love of purple extends beyond a physical attraction and goes on to what the color makes us feel when we look at it. When we look at purple it calms us and lifts us up. Also it promotes creativity, something we all need in the design programs and the architecture program. My love of purple has even seemed to affect my personality. I am a very creative person and I also go by the way of my own will. I do not follow I lead and don’t care what others think of me as long as I like myself. In the military when people are wounded in action they get a purple heart to show that they are courageous and brave. Two more qualities that describe me very well, whenever I am faced with a problem I handle it calmly and without being distraught. For example when my dad passed away in October I was stuck being the man of the house and had to comfort my older sister and mom so that they would be better and feed off of my emotions and remain calm in the highly stressful situation. Throughout this situation I had to fight to get the courage to continue on comforting my mom and sister when all I wanted to do was break down myself.

When it comes to picking a favorite color, it can be quite difficult to choose just one. Many people when thinking of colors might assume they are choosing out of for instance just the colors of the rainbow. When someone asks me what my favorite color is I typically think of blue, purple, and yellow. When I picture these colors I think of not only of how they are represented on the color wheel, but all of the different varieties and shades of these colors. If I had to choose just one to be my favorite out of these three colors, I would have to choose blue as my favorite color. When thinking of blue one would usually say it represents the beautiful shades of the skies and the oceans which is true, but it also can show much more than that. The color blue physically and visibly speaking has hundreds to thousands of different shades of the color. Blue is my favorite color because it has so many different meanings emotionally, how it makes a person feel as well as what it represents for itself. Some people might associate the color blue with sadness but to me it has much more powerful meaning than that. Blue represents confidence, boldness, trust, loyalty, stability and many more powerful meanings. The color blue impacts me not only as a designer but as a person. As a person, confidence means believing in yourself and all that you do. Blue represents boldness and as a designer, I believe every design should have something bold about it. The color also represents trust and loyalty which are two qualities every person should have. Incorporating blue into my designs also means including of all of the strong qualities that come with it to my designs. As a designer, I want to instill confidence, boldness, as well as stability and more into every one of my designs. Although I may not always want to include the physical color blue in all of my designs, I will surely use the meanings and qualities of the color blue to create my art and designs.

My favorite color is blue. The color blue is known for being trustworthy, dependable, wisdom and, soothing. When I look at the ocean or sky the first thought that comes to my mind is calming and soothing. The color blue brings joy to my soul and because of this soothness it relaxes and puts me at ease, enlightening my imagination for greatness. The color blue impacts my personality tremendously because of its common traits that blue is known for, which I believe and feel that is the type of person I am.Blue screams my personality once someone meets and gets to know me. I am also extremely relaxed and calm when associated with the color blue. When surrounded by blue, it inspires my design style because of the composition of the color and its traits of screaming out infinity. I like to draw or paint very calm and relaxed sceneries so when someone looks at the art they get a sweet and relaxed vibe. The color blue has done a lot to designs. The color blue gives positive and great effects to one. Depending on the shade of the color you can get a completely different feeling from the particular piece of art. A darker shade of blue can give you a sad feeling, while a light blue can mean happiness, and is a cultural symbol of baby boy being born. The way blue expresses itself to me makes this such a wonderful color to enjoy and use. The color blue surrounds us everywhere where we look, where we walk, and where we drive, which results in this excitement. Another way blue inspires my design style is the emotions I am feeling. Once I have an emotion it is almost related to the color blue. This also impact my personality because I am inspired to be wiser on decisions I have made and will make in the future to succeed in greatness. It shows how I am very reliable and effective, because of this it shows that I am trustworthy and loyal to everything and anything. The color blue has many traits of my personality which makes it one of the many reasons why it is my favorite color. Blue has stuck around with me ever since I was a kid and it will continue to stick around for as long as it can draw and admire the color and its greatness.

  17. My favorite color is blue and my second favorite color is green. I think that my favorite color might impact my personality because blue is a lovely color. The color blue when mentioned to people, they think of a dark shade of blue or they could relate to blue with sadness. I won't be the person to say that one should like the same color as I but I will only state things that are most relevant to myself. The color of blue for me is the most lovely color because it comes in many shades and tints. It is the aquamarine jewel in a few jewelry sets that is the stone of the month I was born. It is in the sky during day and dark hours of the night. It is the color of the sea and the color of blueberries freshly picked in the midst of May to the end of July. It projects feeling of tranquility and calmness. It can also be melancholic and intense too; also very inspirational. Blue has impacted my personality in the sense that I am a very peaceful person. Even in moments of sadness and anger I always look up to the beautiful blue sky and try to calm down. Eventually after I lay down in the grass meanwhile looking at the sky and clouds passing by I calm down and feel at peace every time. Also much like the color blue I get melancholic sometimes. I am also a very patient and adaptable person like blue since it is a primary color it can "adapt" well into other colors and it is also very flexible. I believe blue is also a very friendly color as I despite being shy. So now with my design style, blue does take a good portion of my attention. Although I do try to incorporate other colors into the mix. I think once I accept that all colors will be equal the value depending on the message I want to convey. Also that I can't be afraid of using the same color a lot. Although I do think that balance is important I would like to learn more techniques on using color to possibly include some new techniques to my new works in the future. Blue is a lovely color and I appreciate its existence. I love it and it will always be my favorite color right before green.

  18. I would start off this journal entry with a cliche of how yellow has been my favorite color ever since I could remember because it reminds me of sunshine or something basic like that, but then I would just be lying. I vividly remember growing up and always being stumped when people asked me what my favorite color was. So one day I came up with an ingenious solution: pick a color no one else liked. At this time everyone really liked blue, red, or pink, yet no one payed yellow any mind, so I snatched it up and decided it would be my favorite color. Ever since, I have blindly answered yellow as my favorite color, yet as I have grown up I have realized how the way I chose yellow to be my favorite color and the color itself accurately represent my personality. I have always hated how individuals feel the need conform to social norms in order to fit in with the crowd. As a child, pretending to have the same favorite color as the majority of other kids is a simple example of that way of thinking. I never wanted to just follow everyone, so by choosing something that no one else liked, it was my way of establishing my own self in the world. Honestly, sometimes yellow disgusts me because it reminds me of mustard, which I hate with a passion, but for the other 99% of the time I do have to say I love yellow. Yes that was very random, but I am not being graded on specific content so why not express my thoughts. In terms of design style, I do not think that having yellow as my favorite color impacts it. I enjoy implementing all different color palettes into my designs and I actually tend to not use yellow much, despite it being my favorite color. Now this is where I will be cliche. Yellow represents happiness, positivity, and energy. I feel that having yellow as my favorite color therefore reflects who I am, because I tend to be very positive, energetic, and happy. Overall, having yellow as my favorite color was a different journey then others, but somehow in the end it fits me perfectly.

There are so many options when it comes to color. The color wheel has so many possibilites it amazes me everyday. From very dark tones to pale colors to the very vibrant tones there are endless possibilities. Depending on my mood my favorite color tends to change but if I really had to choose I would have to say my favorite color is grey. It is very sophisticated and fancy. And it compliments many other colors as well. The color makes me feel at ease and in peace. It’s very tranquil and it’s a good color that is very bright. My room is grey and I like how it helps open up the space. I like the simplicity type of look. I enjoy the way it looks on designs and in homes. I like the way it makes everything feel fresh and new. But if it weren’t for that type of reason I would have to say navy blue. This color stands out compared to many others. I have done research in the past and this color signifies loyalty, trust, faith, and confidence. I feel like this color truly does say a lot about my personality. I am very outgoing and funny but at the same time I am very trustworthy. The color speaks to me and it’s been I color I see often around my life. From my high school uniform shirt to my prom dress it’s always been a color that has surrounded my life. I use it alot in my artwork and designs. It’s a very interesting color as well. It is so dark but so bright. It is a color that can truly stand out on its own. I like to stand out and not be average. I can see why this color says a lot about me as a person. I don’t like to limit myself and I like to stand up against the crowd. I have always been interested in art and creativity and that's always made me different from my group of friends and my family. I stand out the way the color navy blue stand out to me against most of the other colors and that is why it is my favorite color.

  20. My favorite color is red because it increases enthusiasm and stimulates energy. It has always been my favorite since I was a kid. Red is the color of extreme and is one of the many colors that stands out making it able to grasp your attention. Red is the color of cupid and the devil, the color of love and hate. Red is stimulating, exciting, and very vibrant and is seen many times throughout the day by anyone, whether if it is traffic lights, stop signs, red cars, red brick houses, flowers, etc. Red can also be linked to holidays, such as Valentine’s Day and Christmas. On Valentine’s Day you can see red whether if it’s in candy, red hearts, cards, gift wraps, roses, and many more while on Christmas, you can see red in lights, gift wraps, pajamas, etc. The color red can be taken as a beautiful trait, but can also be used universally to signify danger, anger, violence, and seduction. It has been genetically programmed for hot objects to be red in color and our blood is also red. When fire trucks, ambulances, police cars flash red lights, it means danger or emergency, while stop signs and red lights are there to alert drivers about the dangers of crossing the intersection. These reasons make danger signals the most effective when they are painted in red. When we see the color red, it focuses behind the retina which forces the lens to grow more convex, which explains why red captures the attentions of many. The color red impacts my personality in many ways. When I dress up, I dress to impress and incorporating red into my clothing makes me stand out and look presentable. As an architecture major and an artist, when I plan, create, and design a project, making it look as presentable and attention grabbing as possible is the goal. Using the color red, can make an artwork look presentable. Red travels faster and can be seen far than other colors so even a little dot of red in an artwork can be seen much quicker. Red is the color of extremes, can signify good or bad, can be beautiful or ugly, can be soothing or dangerous, but it will never stop grabbing my attention, which is why it will always be my favorite color.

  21. My favorite color is orange because of how warm and bright it is. I don’t really see how it can relate to my personality or style.

One company i would work for is Nike or really any shoe company because i enjoy designing shoes. Besides that, i would work for any other company where I’m working in their design field creating products. If neither of these work out, after i win the lottery i will put that money twards creating my own company of new and efficient technology, furniture, transportation, fashion, etc.

If i were to choose it would most definitely be to create my own business. This reason is because i do not want to be limited to thing i can create. For example, if i were to work at Apple in their design field, i would only be limited to designing about 4 things. iPhones, iPads, laptops, and earbuds. If i was at Nike i’d only make shoes. Let’s say i worked at a furniture company, i would literally only make chairs and tables. But through my “company” i would be able to think, design, create, and sell, whatever i want. Ideas and products wouldn’t have to be so limited because you can make whatever, as long as it is new, efficient, and effective. And the only way i could obtain this goal is through the Michael Graves program. This is where i can get all the ideas and resources i need to excel and prosper, and in the mean time hopefully make a difference.

  22. There is an infinite amount of colors out in the world and many people have certain preferences , meaning that everybody has their own personal favorite color that reflects their personality and even their appearances. Many people find colors to be expressive of how they feel, for example, green can be represented as happy or red can be represented as anger. My favorite color is blue. Blue is everywhere. It can be the color of your car, the walls, a building, or even your favorite sport team. I believe that this is my favorite color because there is so many different kinds of variations of this color. There are numerous types of this color such as sky blue, navy blue, and dark blue, that I find appealing. Also, blue is a very popular color that can be seen anywhere and is liked by most people. When I was younger, I was in love with watching the Power Rangers. Of course my favorite Power Ranger was the Blue Ranger which I think is what mainly affected my choice of choosing blue as my favorite color. I was also a fan of Marvel and there are two Heroes that have blue in their costumes which are Captain America and Spiderman. Therefore, I believe my interest in the color of blue originated from TV characters or comic book heroes, which may explain my reasoning for liking this color.

The color blue is a very calming color, it helps me relax and maintain focus, since this pigment is reflected in the sky and the ocean, which are soothing. This color choice affects my personality because I very much appreciate this color and most of the clothes or accessories that I have would mainly be blue. Blue can also affect my design Style because there are many different types of blue that can come together and making exceptional visual that interest people who view them from a certain perspective. This particular color also gives off a positive feeling, compared to other colors that may give off a negative feeling such as the color black which seems very bland and plain.
